Erica has been involved in ballooning since she was 6, Erica started as crew and became an observer in 2010. Since then she’s been involved in as many British competition events as she can, and had the opportunity to observe at the 2016 World Championships in Japan. Awarded Observer of the Year for 2015, Erica enjoys the role and loves helping new observers and being able to meet new people at events. When she’s not observing at competitions she works in children’s TV production and enjoys cycling, playing the violin and exploring new places.
