Dom Bareford

Dominic is a 23 year old pilot from Oswestry. Ballooning runs in his family and he got into flying from a young age through his father, David. Dominic flies competitively and for fun, and enjoys the challenges that come with competition ballooning, and meeting people all over the world through ballooning.

Dom has had his license for 7 years and has over 400 hours flying in command. Dom was Junior world champion in 2014, and UK national champion in 2015 and 2016, the youngest pilot ever to achieve this. Dom also finished 6th place at the World championships in Saga in 2016.

Dominic works as an Engineer for Lindstrand Technologies and flies their Lindstrand racer at competitions.
