The British Grand Prix Series is run by the BBAC Competitions Club. GPs occur over a number of weekends at ballooning festivals and airshows, with the aim to provide practice for the club’s members and to introduce other pilots to the competitive side of ballooning.<\/h5>\n
In 2024, the UK competitions club will hold 5 GPs, collaborating with Balloon Festivals between May and July. Details of each GP are below:<\/h5>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n

GP1 – Devonshire Balloon & Music Festival!<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

A chance to fly in Exeter, socialise, learn about competition ballooning and compete!<\/h4>\n

\nLocation: Exeter racecourse
\nEntry fee: Free!
\nRefueling: Gas included<\/p>\n

Camping is available onsite for the Friday and Saturday evenings. Entries must be made separately through both the competition club GP entry form and the Exclusive Ballooning GP event. The first competition flight will be Saturday AM. The last competition flight will be Sunday PM.<\/p>\n
